Belize offers the perfect blend of familiar and adventurous for you to have a safe and beautiful destination wedding. Since English is the primary language of the country and the exchange rate is so great, it's a hot spot for weddings from English speaking countries.

So while we respect and enjoy the jungle-trotting and the ruins-running, we are mostly writing from our experience on the sand.

Getting Married on the Beach

Relax on the beach and stick your toes in the sand for your big wedding day. There's no need to stress out when you've got warm feet and a cold drink in your hands.

Beachside weddings at sunrise, sunset, or mid-day are fantastic and couldn't be easier in Belize. With over 700 miles of shoreline to explore you can choose between the most secluded to the most active for your wedding location.

Since it is the beach there is no shortage of food and festivities with the freshest fish and ceviche to pit-roasting pigs on an open fire. Then when it's all said and done, you're in one of the hottest vacation spots in the whole world.

Scuba Diving

Belize has some of the best scuba diving in the entire world. Not only do they have the blue hole, which tops any scuba divers bucket list, but they have miles upon miles of fresh, lively coral for you to swim through and explore.

Fishing

There is no shortage of exotic and delicious fish to catch, cook, and eat on the Reef. But you can also do some sport and deep sea fishing with ease.

Festivals and Local Events

There are numerous small festivals, fishing events, and local attractions for you to visit. The Belizean people are wonderful and have a rich culture and history that you can explore and experience.
