The world-famous Belize Lobster Festivals returns in July 2022! Three island/coastal destinations in Belize come alive with the Lobster every way, food and drink crawls, live music, block parties, and much more. The official Lobster season starts in Belize on July 1, 2022; Come to San Pedro, Caye Caulker and Placencia and celebrate each days-long festival!
June 30 - July 9: San Pedro Lobster Fest
The Ambergris Caye Lobster Fest is the first festival starting June 30. Come for 10 days, including a week-long Lobster Crawl! Each day is a new place hosting activities, all of the destinations to welcome in the season with delicious lobster dishes, live music, and prizes. The San Pedro Lobster Fest Finale Block Party is on July 9! Come and enjoy all that San Pedro has to offer and celebrate Lobster season 2022.
July 1 - July 3: Caye Caulker Lobster Fest
The first weekend of July on Caye Caulker happens at the Palapa Gardens. Festivities start on Friday while Saturday climaxes with the 'main event night’: a beach party, performances, and family-friendly activities! Spend Sunday all day long on the beach while live entertainment continues.
July 15 - July 19: Placencia Lobster Fest
The mainland’s only Lobster Fest happens in Placencia's in mid-July. Many of the cooks at the Placencia Lobster Fest come to the beach carrying years of experience in the local restaurant industry and strong family kitchen traditions. Food is Placencia’s ultimate cultural immersion experience. Taste Creole, Mayan, Garifuna, Caribbean, European, Asian and North American culinary influences at the leading gastronomic party in Belize! Parties, contests, music, and more!
